Sorry for the two days off peeps. Two more days to go. Hopefully I can strike some good results this time. Okay okay, to be honest, I actually got nothing much to blog. Well, let the picture tells you the story. Oh yes, someone got me a bouquet of white lilies *smile*. If you know me well, I personally favors white lilies than red roses. Thanks for being such a romantic person. I'm pretty sure that you're the only one who knows what I actually like. Well, I guess this is it for today. See you around peeps. Bye!

P.s: <3 hugs and love to YOU <3

Another update
December 5, 2009 @ 3:09 PM

I'm back again peeps. As you know, there is a PC fair event going on in the town and I managed to get some IT goodies from the stalls. Now my PC is twice as much faster than previous one- means more gaming for the rest of the month *YIPPIEEE*. I know i know, you may think that I sound so C-H-I-L-D-I-S-H. Who cares anyway? HAHAHA.

Oh ya, I went to a newly-renovated coffee shop with my mom this morning. Speaking of coffee shop, you probably will come across with the normal coffee shops in town- but definitely not this one. What's so special about this coffee shop is that it was founded in year 1951 and I'm impressed with its interior design. The feel is like you are traveling in a time machine back to the 1920s era with pictures (very very old ones) all around the shop. I've got to say, it is a very nice and unique place for afternoon tea. I still haven't got chance to try its food- will update soon, I promise.

I should stop now. So long, peeps.

Love,
HY

Effective Diet
December 3, 2009 @ 8:44 PM

It is an undeniable fact that most girls would DIE to stay fit and skinny in their life. Like most girls, I've been working hard to watch my weight all the time. I once attempted to a more aggressive diet program (like not eating anything). Eventually it failed because I couldn't resist the delicious food. Until I found this book, I started to change my diet.

According to the author, different blood types have different body chemistries- in other words, it determines the way the body absorbs nutrients. In short, if you are TYPE A, it would be best if you could opt for vegetarian in particular high carb with low fat diet. You could eat soy products, vegetables, fruits, fish and etc. Go for a slow and gentle exercise like yoga or golf.

If you are TYPE B,your optimal diet includes game meat like rabbit, lamb or mutton. However, bear in mind that type B should avoid chicken. Type B benefits from a variety of dairy products. Some grains, beans and legumes may cause problems for Type B,but there is a wide selection of vegetables & fruits available. Engage in exercise such as moderate swimming or slow jogging.

Meanwhile, if you are TYPE O, you could go for high-protein with low carbohydrates diet including meat, poultry, fish and a variety of fruits and vegetables. Many grains, legumes and dairy products are incompatible with your blood type. Cut out wheat and most other grains. Encourage to go for aerobic exercises.

If you are Type AB, your diet is more complex which is a combination of Type A & B. Type AB can eat most of the foods that are good for these blood types, but must avoid or limit of the foods that agglutinate them. The best diet for Type AB consists primarily of vegetarian fare, with modest supplements of meat and dairy. Engage in calming exercises and relaxation techniques.

Thank god I got AB blood type- I just love meat so much. Now, you can eat whatever you like according to your blood type without fearing of gaining weight. To those who are preparing to slim down for chinese new year, pick up the book and read for more details. Stay skinny and healthy!!!

Six more days to the release of exam results. Wish me luck.

Signing off now. Bye again!

Love,
HY

Happy holiday
December 2, 2009 @ 9:29 PM

As I promised, another routine update from me again. I managed to catch up with couple of my girlfriends last night- Miss J was the aeroplane queen this time. Ooppss, I was so excited chit chatting around until I forgot to take any pictures. No worries, I will take some next time. After the long conversation we had last night, all I could say is that those are none of our concern and we do not have any right to criticize or make any judgment at all. It wouldn't be fair for both side anyway. So, I suppose remain silence is the best option.

Okay okay, forget about it and back to the topic. For the girls who are currently out of town, enjoy your vacation to the max. I'm going to miss you girls- can't wait for our next round of gathering. As for me, I'm going to continue hanging around in my "comfort zone" while waiting you girls back from holiday. That's it for today.

Au revoir!

Love,
HY

Facts of the day
December 1, 2009 @ 6:47 PM

Spent my whole evening reading this book. In 1898, American author Morgan Robertson wrote a book called Futility, or the Wreck of the Titan. The story is about a famous British passenger liner named Titan, claimed to be unsinkable and carried insufficient lifeboats. On its voyage, Titan hits an iceberg and sinks in the North Atlantic ocean. Click here for more details. Does the story ring a bell?

Yes, the story line is very much similar to Titanic. I bet most of your have heard about the Titanic incident before. The only difference is that the book is written in year 1898 whereas the incident happened in 1912. I wonder how Robertson got the story. Is this merely a coincidence or some sort of psychic??? Think about it.

Holiday Life
@ 12:49 PM

Oh yes!!! I'm officially in a holiday mode right now. Been slacking at home for the past few weeks. Another month to go until the summer course starts- it's going to be a tough one this time. Speaking of holiday, it reminds me of my close friend, Miss E who once asked me a very interesting question, "how the hell you spend your day at HOME?". If you know me very well, I'm the typical so-called "aeroplane queen" who like to change my mind at the very last minute. I know i know, most of my close friends often get frustrated with this little bad habit but what to do, I just LOVE staying at home.

Now, let me share with you how I spend my days during holiday. First of all, I woke up at nine every morning. Then, I would spend one hour reading newspaper in the toilet- another bad habit i suppose. After the "newspaper" session, I would start facebook-ing, checking emails, updates and blah blah blah- these would take another two hours or more. By then it's lunch time and my job is to prepare meals on my own. Moving on in the afternoon, I watch all sorts of movies, dramas, series or cartoons in the PP stream until my eyes are so tired that I barely could open them. Then it's time for an afternoon nap- my FAVOURITE past time hobby *evil smiles*. Since now is the year-end raining monsoon season, I could sleep even longer. I normally awake at six and by that time I would grab some food and get ready for my yoga class. My yoga class starts at seven and last for about one and a half hour. After the tiring stretching session, it's time to retreat myself- have a sweet bath, put on facial mask, reading magazines or books, aromatherapy and whatever you can think of. By the time you finish all these crap, I bet you wouldn't have extra energy to do anything else. That's it end of the day. Okay okay, some of you might say it's a "grandma" living style. Probably I should go out shopping or clubbing sometime. I will but not now=)Still enjoying my routine life for now.

Am wondering whether going to Brunei or not. Sigh, I'm such a lousy decision maker=(

Signing off now. Bye peeps!

Love,
HY

I often think of starting a blog where I could write anything I want. Unfortunately, my limited IT skill demotivates me every time when I wanted to explore blogging. Until today, I finally make up my mind to sit back and learn how to blog- credits to blogger, youtube and google. For your little information, I have spent TWO DAYS to come out with this blog. Gosh, the whole process was so tiring. But, it is still worthwhile after all. Stay tune for new updates=)
